Chelsea vs. Arsenal Match Preview - Premier League 05.08.2014

After a rousing romp over Galatasaray midweek, we come down to Earth just a bit as we stare a trip to Stamford Bridge, site of that 0-6 spanking, square in the face. It's a sobering moment, to be sure, made all the more so by Chelsea's flying start to the season. Scratch that—it's a blistering start that includes 19 goals scored in six matches; only two draws indicate any slackening of that pace.

It’s been a bit of a topsy turvy few weeks since our first Champions League outing and the defeat at Dortmund. We recovered from that loss, beating Villa with a very large Gunner stick, followed by a disappointing home defeat to Southampton in the Cup, and possibly an even more disappointing home draw against the Spuds.

Match Preview: Arsenal vs. Tottenham 27.09.2014

I gotta admit, I haven't hungered for a North London Derby as much as I have for this one in a while. Regardless of either club's relative fortunes, which one is in a "negative spiral," or what the match means for bragging rights, this match presents an itch that I just can't wait to scratch. Losing to Southampton on Tuesday only fuels that fire; I'm looking around for something to smash. It that something happens to be a Spud, well, then, so be it.
