Match Review: Arsenal 1 Manchester United 2 - Premier League - 22.11.14

Often talk of a crisis and the sight of broken cannons in the newspapers can been laughed off and dismissed as media hyperbole. However, following a quite maddening home defeat to one of the worst United sides ever to visit London, I think a crisis might well be in full swing at our club. Having amassed just seventeen points from twelve games, we find ourselves out of the title race and already well off the pace in the fight for Champions League qualification.

Match Review: Arsenal 3 Anderlecht 3 - Champions League - 04.11.14

Tuesday night was one of those nights that makes you wonder why on earth you bother following football. After an hour, Arsenal were cruising through to the knockout stages, but half an hour later, we were stunned and embarrassed. Throwing away a three goal lead at home is something that would humiliate a pub side, but somehow we contrived to capitulate against the side that most thought was the weakest in the group.

Match Review: Arsenal 3 Burnley 0 - Premier League 01.11.14

A three nil win looks comfortable and stress free on paper. But we had to work very hard for it against a Burnley side that, without wanting to be disrespectful, are nowhere near good enough for the Premier League. Despite this, there were periods in the game where we looked abject and devoid of creativity. Again, without wanting to offend our opponents from Saturday, three nil is par for the course against a side like Burnley.
