Match Review: Swansea 0 Arsenal 3 - Premier League 31.10.15

After a humbling night in Sheffield, a much changed Arsenal side returned to winning ways at Swansea, a ground where we’ve had mixed fortunes in the past. With our squad severely depleted by injuries, it’s a huge win for us at a really difficult ground to go to and with Man Utd dropping points and City winning, the three points were vital. It’s the perfect way to kick off a challenging week that will take us to the international break and hopefully some much needed respite from injury problems.

Match Review: Sheffield Wednesday 3 Arsenal 0 - League Cup 27.10.15

Tuesday night was one to forget for a number of reasons. The fact that we were unceremoniously dumped out by lower league opposition was secondary to the fact that we lost two key players to injury. Walcott and Chamberlain will now miss games against Swansea, Bayern and Sp*rs, which leaves us horribly light. As I stated after the Everton game, this is now a full blown injury crisis.

This was always going to be a tough game. Following a monumental effort midweek to beat Bayern, Everton were always going to be a stern test with fresh legs and a desire to make up for their defeat against United. With both United and City dropping points and Chelsea in full China syndrome meltdown, it was important to get three points to push our title challenge.
