Match Review: Arsenal 0 West Ham 2 - Premier League 09.08.15

I had a lot of confidence coming into this game. Our first match of the Premier League season, coming off an impressive pre-season and a new sense of optimism and expectancy. Before the game I was of the opinion that this was our best chance since the Invincibles season to bring the league trophy home. After ninety minutes against West Ham, I was left shaken and crestfallen as we gifted our London rivals three points. Arsenal looked as far from being title challengers as they have ever been.

Match Review: Arsenal 4 Aston Villa 0 - FA Cup Final 30.05.15

What a way to end the season. Not only did Arsenal triumph at Wembley for the second year in a row, they dismantled Aston Villa in emphatic fashion. Villa didn’t even register a shot on target as Arsenal romped to victory in front of the jubilant Arsenal support. Winners for a record twelfth time, two in a row for the second time and an incredible sixth FA Cup winner’s medal for Arsene Wenger.

Match Review: Arsenal 4 West Brom 1 - Premier League 24.05.15

Arsenal wrapped up the Premier League season in style with a scintillating first half demolition of West Brom. After a run of three games without a win and three home games without scoring, the Gunners finally found their mojo ahead of next week’s cup final. Not only did it secure third spot, but it gives us a much needed confidence boost, while our Wembley opponents Villa were beaten by relegated Burnley at home.
