Match Review: Arsenal 2 Olympiakos 3 - Champions League 29.09.15
Where do you start with the debacle we witnessed on Tuesday night? Champions League elimination is beckoning as Arsenal somehow contrived to concede three goals to an average looking Olympiakos side and in doing so have given themselves little hope of getting out of the group. After years and years of failure, it is sadly time to ask, what is the point of Arsenal playing in the Champions League anymore?
Match Review: Leicester City 2 Arsenal 5 - Premier League 26.09.15
This Premier League season is shaping up to be all sorts of crazy. Two weeks ago, City looked set to race away at the top and the obligatory ‘can they go unbeaten?’ tweets were starting to appear. Fast forward a fortnight and City are rocking after two defeats in a row, the latest a 4-1 capitulation at Tottenham. Chelsea continue to play poorly, dropping more points at Newcastle and Liverpool were run close by Aston Villa. Despite the 5-2 scoreline, our game was far from straight forward. The quality across the board in the Premier League has greatly increased and I think we’ll see one of the lowest points totals for the Champions in a long time.
Match Review: Sp*rs 1 Arsenal 2 - Capital One Cup 23.09.15
Wednesday night brought a much needed return to winning ways after two sickening defeats. The debacle at Chelsea had left a very bitter taste in the mouth and although the FA have gone some way to putting right some of the injustices, we’re never going to get back the lost points from the Bridge. We needed a response and a rotated Arsenal side delivered it in the best way possible: stuffing the Sp*rs on their own turf.
